Singapore Bar Model Training

The Singapore Bar Model is an effective way of teaching children how to 'unpick' word problems and understand which operations they need to use in order to solve the question. This strategy can be used from EYFS through to Secondary School age children.

NETs are offering personalised training for your school. We can offer a refresher course for schools who are already using the model. Alternatively, a full series of training can be delivered to schools who are introducing it for the first time.

Afternoon Training (1pm - 3:30pm)    Alliance Members £200  Non Alliance Members £230

Staff meeting (3:30pm- 4:45pm)        Alliance Members  £150  Non Alliance Members £180

Some schools may require more than staff meeting if introducing the model for the first time.

The person offering the training is a Maths Specialist, Accredited PD lead with NCETM and an SLE. They have many years of experience delivering training. Below you can see examples of recent feedback.

If you would like to book training for your school, please use the booking form below. Alternatively, if you would like any further information or have any questions please contact: katiemittell@connectedlearningmat.co.uk
